6. Teaching children during hospital treatment
If a child needs long-term treatment or rehabilitation in a hospital for more than 15 days, he can still continue to study right there. That's how it works:
- First, you need to consult with your doctor and get a certificate from him that the child needs to stay in the hospital for treatment.
- The study will begin as soon as the child is admitted to the hospital, and will continue depending on how he feels.
- Lessons can be conducted with a group of children, or individually, if there are less than three people in the group. All classes are organized by a teacher who works according to a special schedule made taking into account the health and needs of each child.
- The duration of one lesson is 40 minutes, but if the child does not feel very well, the doctor can tell you to shorten this time.
- It is important that the curriculum is not too difficult for the child. Therefore, teachers select tasks based on how the child feels.
- All children who study at the hospital are recorded in a special journal to track their progress and attendance.
- Thus, even while on treatment, the child can continue his studies and keep up with the school curriculum.
